Macro to run before saving files

Hi,

can I somehow assign a macro to be run just before I save my files? I would
like to remove trailing spaces and tabs before save. I already have a macro
to do so.

To save with spaces rather than tabs:
Tools->Options->Text Editor->All languages->Tabs->Insert Spaces

No, that doesn't work. Try this: insert a new .cs file. View hidden
characters (c-s-8). Make a change and save. As you see, the tabs inserted
are not changed to spaces. Why insert tabs into new files when I have
selected spaces??
