Can not install VS.Net 2003

Dear Sir,

When I install VS.Net 2003 from CD1, I always get a message says: "Setup has detected that another program requires the computer to reboot. You must reboot the computer before installing Visual Studio .Net Prerequisites." after i clicked "Visual Studio .NET Prerequisites". I tried to click the "OK" button to reboot my machine but that doesn't help.

Could anyone shed me some light on how to workaround this? Than you

The installer will use a feature of the OS that allows it to place files "in
limbo" until a reboot, where the OS will copy the new files over the top of
other files that could not be modified while the system was running.

You installed another app, which placed files in this area. You need to
reboot to complete the prior installation. (a normal reboot will work).
Then, this area will be empty, and the new install should work.

Good Luck,
--- Nick
