IDE Hangs on First Debug

Hi,

I am using VS.net 2002 with Framework 1.0 (SP2) on XP Pro, with
Wireless Keyboard and Mouse.

Has anyone had this problem: after starting the debugger the keyboard
locks and the video-type start,pause and stop buttons grey out on the
IDE. Also the "step into"/"over" is greyed out on the toolbar, but I
can access them using the mouse from the debug menu?

The keyboard still works 'cause I typed into notepad.

This is really frustrating, you should have seen the problems I had
trying to get it to debug in the first place (McAfee Privacy doesn't
disable, you have to un-install it, 5 hours last night to figure that
one out).
