First of all, I would like to confirm my understanding of your issue. From
your description, I understand that you need to know if FMExpense is
similar to Smart Client Offline. If there is any misunderstanding, please
feel free to let me know.
As far as I know, Smart Client Offline application block has similar
function as FMExpense. By incorporating the Offline Application Block into
your code, you can extend your smart client application capabilities to
download data and still function when disconnected from the network. For
example, when connected, the application will be able to consume the data
exposed by a Web service and then allow users to work on that data when no
