Hi,
I have an ASP page that calls a DLL on the same server via
server.createobject.
Within the ASP page I print out the System Variable LOGON_USER. It's
correct.
Within the DLL I have a msgbox that prints out the network username.
When this is run from VB6 -- it picks up the correct username -- as it
should.
When the dll is called from ASP the username is the admin account and
not the one displayed with LOGON_USER.
I need the dll to launch with the user account that fired it because the
DLL connects to a sqlserver that is NT Authenticated.
Within the DLL I have tried to Impersonate but I always pick up the
admin account and not the user account information that fired the ASP.
Is there some way of doing this so that sqlserver will connect via NT
Authentication without having to create the admin account in sqlserver?
Server A
OS for IIS is w2k sp4 with NTLM
VB6 (not .net)
Active Directory
Server B
sqlServer 2k SP?
Mixed Mode
Thanks in advance,
