Linearisation added to Apoc PDF Toolkit V3.0

Chive Software are pleased to announce a new version of its Apoc PDF
Toolkit, part a of its Apoc suite of products.

Apoc PDF Toolkit is a high quality software component that developers
can add to their applications in order to manipulate existing PDF
documents and create new PDF documents. Developed using Microsoft's
..NET environment, this 100% managed code toolkit is compatible with
any .NET application such as ASP.NET applications, Windows
applications and Console applications.

This new version, version 3.0, adds the powerful feature of
linearisation (web optimisation), and allows programmers to enable
their applications to process any PDF file and optimise it for display
over the Internet.

With just a few lines of code, a PDF can be web optimised, enabling
any page within a large document to be viewed almost instantly from
within a web browser without the need for the whole document to be
downloaded first.

Apoc PDF Toolkit has been written to support version 1.4 of the Adobe
PDF reference specification and supports the production of PDF
documents to Acrobat version 5. It is backwards compatible with all
previous versions of the PDF specification. The component provides the
developer with a familiar and easy to use Document Object Model.

The Apoc PDF Toolkit compliments our Apoc XSL-FO PDF render component
and can be used to by applications to post-process PDF documents
rendered by the Apoc XSL-FO or any other PDF creation program.

The product ships with full documentation in an MSDN style help file
together with variety of samples programs written in C# that
demonstrate the power of the toolkit and its ease of integration.

Visit our Apoc PDF Toolkit section of the website for more
information.
