worker process

Hello All,

I have a strange bahavior with memory managment by a asp.net worker process.
I have an application with a mixed code e.i. managed code wraps unmanaged corespondin
functions. I perform lenghty operation that basically in one thread allocates some arrays sa
of 200Kb and release it inside a unamanged functions in some long loop. I'm 100% sure there ar
no memory leaks in the code because we compiled also an MFC app from the same sources
doing the same thing. Purify didn't fing any memo leaks. However in ASP.NET the worker proces
constantly grows. After some time I the usage of virtual memory is so high that the process is
very uneffective. Thus enlarging the memory limit in machine.config to say 300% does satisfy me

Can anyone tell if it's ossible to force ASP.NET to release unused memory and give it to the sysyte
so that the process wouldn't page with disk so much

Greetings
and thanks in advanc
