.Net Framework v1.1 and MSSOAP

I'm not even sure I'm at the right place to ask, but...
(My OS is WinXP Home)I upgraded to PrintMaster 16; which
requires and loaded .Net Framework v1.1.
Had two issues: XP User Account ASP.NET Machine Account
established, which I deleted per Broderbund Technical
Note.
Second issue is the purpose of this question:
My ISP is EarthLink.net, using TotalAccess 2004 for email
service. When I modified my TA2004 address book and
attempted to Sync it with EarthLink's WebMail Address book
I got an error message "Synchronization Failed. MSSOAP is
not correctly installed on this machine."
Not a designer or programmer and really not that familar
with .Net Framwork, much less what MSSOAP is. In working
with EarthLink Tech Support, they said it is a Microsoft
..NET problem.
Can someone out there help with a solution or at least
explain what MSSOAP is and why I can't sync my email?
Thanks, Dave

Sorry, this is probably not the right forum. This is not PrintMaster/Earthlink's product support newsgroup.
MSSOAP stands for MS SOAP or Microsft SOAP or Microsoft Simple Object Access Protocol.
(MS implementation of the SOAP standard. SOAP is an envalope for XML)

But you can try these:
1) Uninstalling the Earthlink WebMail address book and then re-installing it. Hopefully the software will detect what is missing. But that may break PrintMaster 16.
2) I don't know why ASP.NET needs to be removed. It has very limited permission. Maybe you can add "him" back.
3) If you are adventurous, you can download and install SOAP Toolkit 3.0 from Microsoft (www.microsoft.com/ downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C943C0DD-CEEC-4088-9753-86F052EC8450&displaylang=en ) *but not recommended#
