It's working very well for us. In a few hours we put together a database
content outline. There are 12 main topies, 250 total entries, some branches
of the tree are 7 levels deep, and it looks /great/ printed on 24" x 36"
paper. ;-)
Fortunately it's a good 21-day eval. Many eval programs limit the amount
you can save, have frequent annoying "You haven't registered!" popups,
and/or watermark the output. The MindManager eval is a refreshing break
from tradition. I haven't found any limits yet.
Thanks for the suggestion.

You'll find you'll do most/all your work in Mind Manager and the other
formts (Word, Project, and we pages) derive from that work. Backwards
to your intentions, but more effectiv for results. At least that my
experience.
Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

I'm sure Visio can do this. Another which does a terrific job at
exactly this is MindManager (see www.mindjet.com).

Sorry about the cross post. I'm not finding anything in google or
google groups.
I have a client who likes Visio-style drawings, similar to
hierarchical org charts. But we're early in the project and it's a
long process to edit the charts.
Is there some piece of software that will take a MS Word outline
and
make a Visio (or other drawing program) org chart?
Or other suggestions?
Thanks.
