Pls redirect me: End user login problem

Would anyone care to point me to a good site or group for troubleshooting
user .Net / Passport login problems? I've turned up a lot of development
info (such as this group), but little on subscriber and authentication
problems.

Specifically, I'm a service tech who has a customer having troubles logging
in to her Hotmail account from her particular machine. Other machines login
to her account fine, including the machines on my workbench. She starts MSN
home page, clicks to Hotmail, receives the .Net login screen, enters
information and continues, but is not returned to the Hotmail page. She's
left with a blank page and a Done indication in the status bar.
Authentication must have occurred, though, as I can click her back to MSN
home, click the sign-in and then click through to Hotmail. I am able to get
to user maintenance areas to change passwords, etc. This is WinME, IE6SP1.

I've deleted what cookies I can find (actually all cookies), but could use
more detailed information. I have reinstalled IE6 and updated the machine.
My next thought would be to delete the .Net controls (I assume they're
controls) and have them be reinstalled at the login process, if I can locate
them.

Any help appreciated!
