How can I write to the network share (not a UNC)?

ASP.net C#

I'm using streamwriter to write a file to our network share. I can do this using UNC but I can't see it on the network share. I can see it using the UNC but I can't access it through the drive letter. Could someone point me in a positive direction to remedy this? Thanks.
