Nikos,
Adam Nathan's book ".NET and COM - The Complete Interoperability Guide" does
a very complete job of discussing interop between COM and .NET.

However I'm not sure if I would categorize it as a "newbie" book.

Hope this helps
Jay

Even though Wrox is no longer you can still get this book on Amazon.
