Hi Aaron,

Why would you use cache in a windowapplication?
If you want to make something persistent (static) it is very easy.

Serious question I am curious..

I know theres no cache function in a win app. Thats why i asking for
something similar for win apps. I need to store some data into the memory
and any part of the program should be able to use the data just like cache
in a web app.

Thanks.

Hi Aaron,

I thought that it was something like that.

Have a look for C# to "static" and for VB to "Shared".

Another word as keyword to search for in this is "Global"

It is much easier for a windows application to do because they are not
stateless.
For "Windows" developpers it is strange that you need something as cache,
viewstate, session to keep you information. They always have problems when
that happens,

For me is funny that you are the opposite, windows programmers normaly do
not even think about it.

I hope this helps,
