Hi Andy,

This is an International newsgroup, so when you ask about software that is
special connected with a country you have to tell for which countries and
laws it has to do with?

Bookkeeping and HRM are two samples of those programs (there are a lot
more).

a few years ago there was a book called Accounting and Finance Developers
Guide for Visual Basic. I think it was for VB4 or 5 but the info was great.
I think it was Sams publishing.
Hope this helps... keep an eye out in the bargin bins
