Hello MSDE'ers,
First a happy newyear without to much problems, whatsoever!
Sofar I am not able to create a SQLdatabase, on an other
computer, using a simple network.
I am using VB.NET v2003 (Server explorer) &
MSDE, downloaded from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?

BF12261A303A&displaylang=en
-I do can create sql-databases on my PC with .NET on it.
-MSDE is running on both computers.
-I used the following setup:
setup.exe INSTANCENAME=[MASTER or SLAVE]
DISABLENETWORKPROTOCOL=0 BLANKSAPWD=1
-Their instancenames are MASTER and SLAVE.
-On the PC with vb.net, I can see only the master-instance.
When I want to register the "SLAVE",
(on the master machine, using .NET,) it is not possible,
because in the label called "SERVER" the instacename
"MASTER" appears, and cannot be edditted.
