Show files from diferent directories in Windows Explorer

How do I show files from different directories as the Windows Search
function does in a VB.NET application.

Have already found the files that I graphically wants to display in
Windows Explorer!

Thanks Mattias Sjögren for your earlier advice that I probably have to
create a shell extension for that. But I do not know how to go on!

Thanks for advices / Mathias

Hi Mathias,

Did you look to the directoryinfo class?

But I do not know how to go on!

You should start by reading

Creating a Shell Namespace Extension
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en.../namespace.asp

It's not something I'd do in managed code though.

If you have detailed questions about it,
microsoft.public.platformsdk.shell is the best group to ask in.
