Longhorn, Avalon and Win32?

Hi there,

I need to know if Win32 applications will still run on the future Windows
OS codenamed Longhorn?

Also,

Will avalon applications run on older versions of Windows? NT? XP? 9x?

Thank you

1) Yes, (most) Win32 apps will run on Longhorn. Actually on the PDC demo
they showed a very ancient program (visicalc?) that ran on Longhorn.

2) I don't think so, older versions of Windows don't have the new UI engine.
