.NET and Win32 application

Hi all,

I have a general question. Does the .NET framework
influence the older Win32 application? I mean the
situation after installation .NET framework.

No, the closest thing to compare to is that the .NET is similar like the MFC
dll's or Visual Basic runtime libraries of the Java virtual machine.
Win32 programs that do not use .NET parts will run as before.

..NET is a runtime in the form of libraries, as is the C runtime, VB runtime,
etc etc.

Nothing different here , nothing to see, move along.

People complain about having a runtime installed yet there is runtimes
already installed or they wont run diddly would they.
