.NET connectivity with LAMP

Ok I am running a Linux server with Apache, MySQL, and
PHP installed.

I also have Apache installed locally on my workspace.

When I try and create an ASP.NET web appliction it gives
me the following error:

Visula Studio .NET has detected that the Web Server is
running ASP ..NET version 1.0.

I have tried using the option of making the appliction
comply with ver 1.0 but it then returns this error:

The default Web access mode for this project is set to
file share but the project folder at

ASP.NET talks to IIS, not Apache. You need a Windows server with IIS.
