Geting VS to recognize .shtml files as html

I have some simple web pages that are using server side inlcudes. Thus they
have the .shtml extention. I have included them in a project and open them
with the Open With option form the Solution explorer context menu where I
tell VS to open them using the XML/HTML editor. The editor is seeing them
as XML not HTML however, and thus I am not getting any auto complete help,
etc. How to I get VS to see these files as HTML and configure the editor
correctly?
