How To write an Internet Explorer Plugin ?

P: n/a
Hi,

I want to write a small plugin/script/component (in .NET preferably) for
internet explorer that can read information on a web page.

More specificly: i want to read the html body of a displayed web page (in
explorer), and based on that information , display information in a popup,
other window, orso

Small example: if i where to open a web page (while the plugin is loaded)
with a certain word like "Windows", a small icon would start bliking in the
tasktray

If anyone can at least point me in the right direction i would be gratefull.

Tnx.
