MSDN vs Framework 1.1 SDK confusion

I have downloaded the latest SDK for .NET Framework 1.1 and it works great
as a standalone product. I have also setup VS.NET 2003, but have no F1
integration.

Question: Must I load MSDN library to get full F1 integration? Isn't that a
huge waste of disk space because the SDK has similar content.

Please advise
