.NET Assembly Disappearance under windows 89

It may seem unbelievable, yet this issue troubles me for
the last four weeks and after several work-arounds I found
no solution.
I have built a .NET managed code windows forms application
consisting of a couple of EXEs and several DLLs. I have
created as Setup project to automate installation.
Installation is performed smoothly (even under win98).
After some days (could be one, two or even a week) rather
suddenly, one of my two EXEs and about half of the
DLLs "Disappear". Yes they do, and this happens only under
win98. Windows 2000 & XP are OK. It also seems that this
happens if we do not execute the application for a couple
of days!!!
I really would appreciate HELP from somebody.
Thanks

Why do you have to be so abrasive? I replied to your post about your
"Flags" problem. The problem was your code, not C#. Being rude is no way
to get any respect around here.
