'Access is denied' after deploying assemblies

Hi,

My group have a ASP.NET based application ( currently
running on 1.0.3705 ). Ideally, we would like to deploy
new components(asp files/assemblies/db updates) into a
live environment without interuption. However, it appears
that upon deploying new assemblies to \appbase\bin we
immediately get 'Access is denied: xxx.dll' exceptions
(where xxx.dll is the next .dll required for loading
depending upon where the user happens to be).
After restarting the aspnet_wp process the system is okay
and the new component is available for use, but this is
less than ideal.

I figure there must be a deployment methodology for
deploying new assemblies into running environments - can
anyone point me at it?

TIA
