cannot insert database Field into a report...

Hello all,
I am having problems with adding new fields (from a database) in
VisualStudio.NET into an existing report - the Field option is greyed
out for some reason? I checked the database path and the tables,
everything seems fine there, I don't know what else to do? Any
suggestions are much appreciated!

Also, why is it that whenever I modify a crystal report in VS I have
to restart the VS in order for changes to take effect?

Please help,
Sincerely,
Oleg
