Loose Viewstate after server.transfer?

P: n/a
If I do a server.transfer, do I loose the view state? What if the user hits
the back button after a server.transfer? Do I get the viewstate back?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jim,

Check the help on HttpServerUtility.Transfer. It discusses ViewState and how
it relates to the preserveForm parameter and the enableViewStateMac page
setting. Also see KB article Q316920 that discusses potential errors when
using Server.Transfer.
