[xsd] Can the content of a mixed type be an enumeration?

Hi all,

Is it possible to check the content of a mixed type? I would like to
define an enumeration for it. The following example works syntactically,
but XMLSpy does no checks on the content at all:

<xsd:simpleTy pe name="my_enum_t ype">
<xsd:restrictio n base="xsd:strin g">
<xsd:enumeratio n value="enum1"/>
<xsd:enumeratio n value="enum2"/>
<xsd:enumeratio n value="enum3"/>
<xsd:enumeratio n value="enum4"/>
<xsd:enumeratio n value="enum5"/>
</xsd:restriction >
<xsd:complexTyp e name="complex_t ype_x" mixed="true">
<xsd:complexCon tent>
<xsd:extensio n base="my_enum_t ype">
<xsd:element name="sub_elem_ 1"/>
<xsd:element name="sub_elem_ 2"/>
</xsd:complexCont ent>
</xsd:complexType >
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, I am getting the following errors on the schema (on the 'Fund_to' and 'Account_to' elements) in Visual Studio.NET when I try to validate the schema itself. I would greatly apreciate any help on this. Error messages: Z:\OrdertoFundSchema\OrdertoFundSchema\GridOrderXML.xsd(128): Type 'http://citco.com/NTASOrder.xsd:Fund' is not declared. An error

I have been given a schema, instances of which I'm required to be able to consume and generate. I'd like to be able to manipulate these instances as DataSets internally in my application. The schema defines the following simpleType: <xs:simpleType name="cs"> <xs:restriction base="xs:token"> <xs:pattern value="*"/> </xs:restriction> </xs:simpleType>

I'm new to .net so here goes. I'm tying to deserialize a class that is associated with an XML schema. I created the C# class with xsd.exe as below: xsd.exe /c /n:somenamespace properties.xsd this creates properties.cs

Greetings I can't seem to inherit enumerated values from a globally defined type in my XML schema. XmlSchema.Compile() doesn't like it. Here's the schema. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> <xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" elementFormDefault="qualified">

hello group: The following is a fragment from a schema which defines the EWethnicCategoryStructure type. As you can see, its type is defined by the SimpleType enumeration EWethnicCategoryType. EWethnicCategoryType is defined as a union with the CommonEthnicCategoryType SimpleType enumeration. Now when I use the XSD tool to create a C# class of this schema, the resulting code does not include the SelectedEthnicCategory enumeration.

Greetings Please give me a push in the right direction if this the wrong place to ask this question. Why is it that I can get the count of facets for an element restriction if the corresponding simpleType is declared inline, but I can't get it if the simpleType is globally defined? Given this schema:

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
