<xsl:value-of select="count('/GROUPS/GROUP')"/> does not work.

When I try <xsl:value-of select="count('/GROUPS/GROUP')"/> on JSTL
<x:transform> tag, I got the following error message.

org.apache.jasp er.JasperExcept ion: Can not convert #STRING to a NodeList!

but, if I try that on Sonic XIS XSL transform API It works fine.
What's the problem?

Java(apache JSTL) does not support XPath functions?

The problem is that the count() function requires a node-set argument. What
you're passing to it is the *string*
'/GROUPS/GROUP'

You actually wanted:

count(/GROUPS/GROUP)

Hi, in our webpage, a user could open a windows explorer to his temp directory with a simple link and usage of the file protocol: <a href="file://C:\temp" target="_blank">C:\temp</a> This worked very well a long time, but now it does not work anymore. We use IE6 and Microsoft Windows XP Professional 2002 SP2. I guess it has something...

Hi everyone, Im just starting out with C++, and am curious to know how "delete <pointer>", knows about the number of memory locations to free. I read somewhere that delete frees up space assigned to <pointerby "new". Does "new" create a list of pointer names and the size of the memory array they point to? I also read that some compilers...

The <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"does not work when using XslCompiledTransform to do the trnasform (namely the output contain < not <), while it works when using MSXML2 to do the transform. Does anyone have the same problem and how to make the escape work? Thanks. ...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
