Date field in Datagrid from SQL server _ Most Urgent

5 New Member
Hai All,

I need help regarding displaying Date in to DataGrid from SQL Server 2000 database in the required format.

Sql Server data : smalldatetime

DataGrid : Date (Only I want. But I am getting Date & Time).

Code I am Using is:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.  code goes here
  3. SqlDataAdapter da=new SqlDataAdapter("select statement",conn);
  4. DataSet ds=new DataSet();
  5. da.Fill(ds,"table name");
  6. DataGrid1.DataSource=ds;
  7. DataGrid1.DataBind();
2. I want cursor to remain in the textfield when the web page loaded.
If I am using tabindex property of page, first address bar is getting activated and next it is coming to the that control.

If I use FrameSet, then the sequence of activation isas follows:

address bar,
Title frame,
web controls in the title frame,
contents frame and their controls,
and then to the main frame and its controls.

But I want control to activate webcontrol in the page displayed in the main frame.

Plz help in this regard. Most Urgent.

Hi folks, I am using an Access database, VB.NET and ADO.NET working with a DataGrid control. MY datagrid table has both a date_sent and a date_ans field. When I Insert a record in my SQL statement, I insert a date_sent but I need to insert a blank date_ans field. date_sent is the date when a question was sent to a group from a web form and date_ans is the date when a question was answered.

I have a gridview that's being populated from an access db query. The problem I'm having is that the date/time fields in access that are populating the gridview are showing both date and time, when the field should only be showing one or the other (date or time). Even on the back end of the database where the column properties are, I have chosen the smallest date/time formats. When the aspx page runs, it shows the date and time (ie:in a...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
