Application Failed error when publiching with VS 2005

I have upgraded a project from VB 2003 to 2005. I have published the
APp to a UNC and that was succesfully but on a remote machine I get a
Application Failed messagebox with the message "Unable to continue. The
application is improperly formatted. Please contact the vendor."

Greetings! I'm testing VS 2005 Beta 2, and I've compiled a program that runs just fine on my computer (where VS is installed). I've tried to run this same program on another computer (after having installed MS .NET Framework 2.0 Beta 2 on it, from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7ABD8C8F-287E-4C7E-9A4A-A4ECFF40FC8E&displaylang=en), but got the following message:

ASP.NET app running for about a year with no problem and suddenly this week it's giving error message. The same as the one decribed by another user. Even stranger is that we only have this problem from some web clients (desktop browser, IE) , some other people do not have problems at all from theirs desktop. Also, some clients can access the web app but some can't! Some can use IE but not Netscape, some can't with both, but there are...

Hi, I have just written (my first) VB.net app using MS Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition Beta. It is fairly simple, it reads some configuration data from an XML file then opens a new window containing a WebBrowser object. This all works fine and I'm happy with my app so I want to 'publish' to a setup file so that others can install it, but when I publish it a get the following errors:

I can remotely connect to the SQL Server 2000 instance using Query Analyser or Enterprise Manager. I can also remotely connect to the SQLEXPRESS using Management Studio Express Edition. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
