Unable to run aspnet applications

Hi,

Every time I try to run my aspnet application, I get this error:

"Error while trying to run project: Unable to start debugging on the web
server. There is no managed code running in the process. In order to attach
to a process with the .Net debugger, managed code must be running in the
process before attaching."

Any idea?

Hi,

Do you have the debugging enable in IIS ? (IIS->Default Web
Page->Properties->Home Directory (Configuration) -> Debugging)

I need some help. First this is I do not know how to post a new question. I
just don`t get how to do it. Here is my question, Whenever I click on to open
my browser I get the following message, This application has failed to start
because NAVEvent.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix
this problem. I then click okay and my browser opens. Any suggestions?

Hi MOJO,

If you installed VS7.0 and VS7.1 together and uninstall VS7.0 and you can't
do ASP.NET debugging with the error message, you need to repair the
installation of 1.1 CLR. it will solve your problem.

For more information, please check the following link. It has much
reference on the ASP.NET debugging issues.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your help.

I reinstalled the framework and that worked, but now I have a new
problem....

My aspnet application-setting in IIS dissapears everytime I run the project
and I get this error:

"Unable to create Internet Information Server Administration object for
server. Unable to set server into correct debugging state automatically. You
may not be able to debug ASP pages. Do you want to continue launching the
debugger?"

If I go into IIS, the application is gone. I create the application again,
but when I run my project, the application dissapears again and I have to
"create" it again.

What is going on?

Thanks!!

Hi M O JO,

What's the version of your OS and the IIS on it? Not sure whether the
problem is caused by the IIS got corrupted after you reinstalled the .net
framework. Currently I suggest you try using the
aspnet_regiis -u
aspnet_regiis - i

to uninstall and reinstall the asp.net on your machine and retest to see
whether it helps. YOu can run the
aspnet_regiis command in the VS.NET 's Command Line popup window.

If that still not sure, I'm afraid maybe the something in the IIS setting
got corrupted. And if you considering reinstall, we suggest you reinstall
the IIS first , then .net framework, that'll ensure the IIS will configure
the asp.net correctly when you install .net framework later.

Hope helps. Thanks.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
