Hi,
I'm going to be starting a project with a friend of mine in C#, we're
doing it to learn the language a little better, to get more experience
with it. We've already come up with an idea of the application to
build, but need advise on how to get started, to share the work? Also
if there are free servers available with sourcesafe, so we can use
that, and just any basic advise on getting started, how to split work.
Thank you. 1 2358
Soni,
There are a number of them. The one use most often (I think) is CVS,
check out https://www.cvshome.org/. There was also a .NET implementation
of VSS called Vault which seems to be been dead now (well the free
version that is).

I need some help getting started with a .NET web project for a
commercial site. I am new to .NET and my understanding of some (but
not all) of its concepts is a little sparse. I apologize for the
length of this message, but hopefully it will help someone here give
me the most concise and useful information, and perhaps help others
out as well. :)
It's been a while since I've had to design anything "real" for the

Good Morning,
I'm trying to get started with the Enterprise Library to evaluate it
and recommend to the rest of the developers in the company. However,
I'm having a heck of a time getting started and must be missing
something. All of our development is completed in VB. I have installed
Enterprise Library on my machine - however I can't compile the project.
Is the code only available in C#? which means I have to have C#
installed just to...

in C, C++ and VB6. Which would be the best language to focus my attention to
regarding the following considerations:
Hireability
Portability
Flexibility
The likely candidates seem to be Java, VB.Net, C, C++, C#.

I'm starting a MFC project that is best described as a XML editor. After searching around for parsers and stuff it sounds like Xerces/SAX is the rout I need to take.
So I downloaded xerces-c-src_2_7_0 and xerces-c_2_7_0-windows_2000-msvc_60.
I've been trying to apply Xerces into my C++ project for a while without any clue what I'm doing. And so far I haven't had any luck googling for tutorials on getting started.
I'm running Visual...

Hi, I'm trying to scope a MS Access project and was looking for some
advise. Will VB programming/ experience be required to build out
something like the Northwinds sample database?
We'd like a DB system to manage member records, their administrators
and to query for random mailings/results. Does Access 07 have easy
ways to generate individual or group mailings? Will RAND and SELECT
WHERE SQL statements be enough for random sampling or...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
