how to set linesize in mysql?

in oracle
so how can i do this in mysql?

There's no need to do that in MySQL, because the linesize will be as long as the data selected.

So, in order to stop 'wrapping' you should make your screen wider.....

/me is using mysql via a putty-shell...... ;)
