About backing-up contents of a table

539 512MB
I have more than 50 rows in a table, and i would like to test if the table exists after an application started-up.

Since those rows(data) are useful for testing purposes, i would like to have a back-up of them let say backup.sql(and will be uploaded again into database after some component testing).

This is my first time to attempt doing like this, i have no idea how to do that,
Is there a way like this task using MySQL commandline?

Any recommended tutorial links would be appreciated,
thanks in advance.

Hi.

Check out mysqldump. It can back up your entire database into a .sql file.

Therefore there's no other way to back-up all of my table's content other than using third party software..... right?

If there is no option, im gonna make my own one....
(Only features that are needed)
(That was what im thinking about few days ago)

I expect to post some more questions here soon.....

Thank you so much Atli
