phpMyAdmin/relational databases

21
Is it possible to set up relational databases in phpMyadmin?

I designed an RDB locally (simply using mySQL) and now need to set up the data on a server where phpMyAdmin is used as the SQL manager. I've tried setting up relationships but its proving problematic.

Can anyone help?

Well I'm not so much getting an error as I simply don't know how to set up my database using phpMyAdmin. I have the following tables:

resource
subject
project
resource_subject
resource_project

The resource_subject table contains resource Id and subject Id since a resource can have many subjects. The resource_project table is similar.

Am I going about this the right way? Thanks again any help.

Any advice out there?

Does my database need further normalization?

This has nothing to do with normalization, just with setting up a database and its tables. There is a handy tutorial on this subject at Setting MySQL database thorugh PhpMyAdmin

Btw: MySQL itself is a relational database (there is no other) and phpMyAdmin is the client interface to the db manager of MySQL.
