Match a exact word.

Hi,

I want to match an exact word/phrase in mysql.

I don't know weather i have to use "LIKE" syntax or "RLIKE" syntax.

How do i proceed further?

with regards

When it is that simple, keep it simple.
Just use the exact comparison operand, i.e. the '=' equals.
Thus
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SELECT * from table_name WHERE field_name = 'This what I look for'
That gives you an exact comparison.
