mysql processes grow!

My mysql (mysqld) processes were 10M each 4 days ago. Now, each
process is 74M! How is that? How can I stop it?

Server is 1.3 Celeron 1G RAM RHEL Unix

hm....

Do you have very large tables, and do you have proper indexing. If
you don’t have proper indecis, then mysql has to do table scans, which
cause it to do unpredictable stuff.

If the above is true, and you have shell access, then start monitoring
"slow query log" (check mysql docs for that).
