MyIsam DB to InnoDB...

Hello,

How do I convert my existing database, which I'm using
MySQL ver 4 for Windows and MyISAM table type to
store the data, to the new format – InnoDB, without problem (
losing data...)

Thanks in advance.

download Mysql Administrator
http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/administrator/index.html
and just change the type of the tables using the interface.

Or study the alter table syntax from the manual.

I've done it before and it retained all data. (so should be okay unless
you somehow managed to have field types that is in myisam and not in innodb)

Innodb might be slower though.
