adding a foreigner

hi all,

we need to ALTER TABLE to add a foreign key, but we cannot find the correct
syntax.

TAG
TAGNUMBER, integer (primary key)
TAG, char(16)
TAGDESCRIPTION, char(32)

TAGLOG
TAGNUMBER, integer (foreign key related to TAG.TAGNUMBER)
TAGVALUE, float
TAGTIMESTAMP, timestamp

when we created the table TAGLOG usin the MySQL control centre, we could not
tell that TAGLOG.TAGNUMBER is a foreign key.

could you please assist us with the syntax to ALTER TABLE TAGLOG to add a
foreign key as per above

P.S. BTW, we are just started using MySQL for the first time, since we are
used to FireBirdSQL. It took us just one (1) hour to install MySQL, install
and configure Connector/J and have our JSP/Servlet up and running.
Unbelieveble how MySQL is so EASY!!!!
