Thanks Mr. Siemel,
what i am looking for is not what mysql and navicat offer. They give
a whole package of connecting to the DB display of tables and fields
and then you give the query and they show the result.
I want to write the query(just this much part rest i m doing on my
own)in a graphical way (as if i dont h ave any knowledge of sql
commands) and then transform it in a sql format to execute it.

OK, sorry then I don't know. Navicat does say they have a Visual Query
builder; see http://www.navicat.com/feature.php3 in the "SQL processing and
visual reporting tool" section, though I haven't tried it yet. Let us know
if it really works. Recently I found this RAD tool for Borland C++ and
Delphi compilers which might be more along the lines of what you're looking
for http://www.tmssoftware.com and click on Query Studio, though I'm not
sure if you want a readymade package or want to build your own.
