nested sql statement problem in mysql version

hi .. in my localhost mysql it work fine with the code below..
but when uploaded to the hosting server ..nested sql statement is not allowed in mysql version MySQL 4.0.25-nt

why ? what hsould i do ?
Why do you have two Select in your statement.
Select * from What table are you looking for.?

Why you need to write a nested select at all.
