refreshing my.cnf

Hi,

I have set up replication previously with no
problems, but this time no go.

I made a typo in my.cnf when I supplied the host
of the master, so I changed it and restarted the
server. It tried connecting to the original host
with the typo. So I rebooted the machine (WIN-NT).
Same again.

In the my.cnf the name is now the right one, but
whenever I try load data from master it says error
connecting to host.with.typo

Do I need to do something else to reload the config?

TIA

Tim
