Seeking help...

I'm stumped...

If anyone here considers themselve's knowledgeable about databases & sql,
and is open to a challenge, I would truly appreciate their help. I have a
fairly limited knowledge of database design and I have been struggling with
this for 6-weeks now.

I will give a brief overview here and if anyone is interested in working
with me to figure this out I ask that they email me directly and I will send
more detailed info...

A friend of mine has been running a golf pool for old highschool friends for
about 7 or 8 years now using an Excel spreadsheet. I was hoping to transfer
the info into a MySQL database and setup some automated reporting on a web
page. There are 20 player groups with 5 players in each category, 54 people
in the pool, points are given for top 10 finishes, and there are monthly
standings and the overall yearly standings. Doesn't sound too complicated
but I can't figure out how to setup the tables, total the points, etc...

If you would be willing to work with me on this please email me at
mi***@macleodweb.com and I will send you a copy of the Excel spreadsheet to
see what you think...

Thanks in advance,
John MacLeod
