order entry php scripts.

I am in need of a mysql data base to keep track of orders, customers, ...
your basic order entry stuff. I know this has already been written hundreds
of times. So, it makes no sense to write this again for my business and I
have other fish to fry.

Are there any mysql order entry systems (php or perl) which others could
recommend. I don't mind paying a reasonable fee for software which I can
use to boot strap things. I would rather just make the modifications I need
rather the start from scratch. Life is too short for all of us to keep
writing the same thing over and over.

I have already spent quit a bit of time searching the web and news group and
have not found what I am after. The is just so much trash on the web these
days that it is getting difficult to find what we are after. What will it
be like 10 years from now?
