exporting mysql to excel or filemaker pro

170 100+
Hi all,

Is it possible to

1) export (and force download) of multiple mysql tables to 1 excel file with multiple sheets

or

2) export (and force download) of 1 mysql table to a filemaker pro file

I can export to csv but not these other two.

Any advice appreciated,

Thanks

Xoinki,

Thanks a lot for your reply. I have downloaded and started using sqlyog, and I can confirm it is easy, intuitive and does the job.

However, I wasn't clear enough in my request. sqlyog works for me personally, but what I need is a script (or snippet) which I can have on my site which will enable any user, via the click of a button or two, to export *their* table data to an excel file and force it to download for them on their own computer. It's my fault for not making this clear initially.

If you, or anyone else, knows how to do that, I'm all ears.

Thanks again.
