mysqld included with mysql-3.23.58-1.73.i386.rpm? Or is this just client?

mysqld does not exist on my system...

I think this is just the client software.. I have to install the
database itself from source, IE - mysql-3.23.58-pc-linux-i686.tar.gz??

Why not install the (wait for it....) mysql-server RPM?

mysql-server-3.23.58-1.9.i386.rpm
