Can MySQL be used with Access 2.0 on a Windows XP system?

MLH
I'm trying to use MySQL and the ODBC 2.5 driver to access
a remote database on a Linux server. I have NO problem hitting
the database from Access 97 & the ODBC 3.5 driver. I just can't
seem to do it from Access 2.0. I'm brand new at this, so go easy
on me. Thx.

You really mean access version 2.0 ? two point zero ???
and not access 2000 [two-thousand] ???

i can use vfp 5,6,7 and 8 with both versions of the odbc driver -
but access 2.0 is SUCH an old product - I'm not even sure if it could
handle odbc stuff at all.

Yeah, unfortunately, I really do mean two-point-zero. It handles ODBC.
I just am having prblems with the syntax.

Wow what a relic ;-)

I'd just try to extract .csv's and start from scratch
