Is this query possible?

Hi!

I have two tables

a: b:
object|place object|color
------+----- ------+-----
pen|table ruler| red
ruler|chair book| red
book|floor book| blue
phone| bag phone| red
cup| bag phone| blue
cup| red

How to write a query that will produce the following table?

place|color|count
-----+-----+-----
table| red| 0
table| blue| 0
chair| red| 1
chair| blue| 0
floor| red| 1
floor| blue| 1
bag| red| 2
bag| blue| 1

The following doesn't exactly work :)

SELECT
a.place,
b.color,
COUNT(b.color)
FROM a LEFT JOIN b
ON a.object=b.object
GROUP BY a.place, b.color
ORDER BY a.place, b.color;
Thanks,

Jack Middleton
