MySQL install ok, service started but can not connect

P: 1
Hi all,

I've just install RedHat Enterprise Linux 4, and upgraded to RedHat Enterprise Linux 5. I need to set up a web server on it. Things are ok except MySQL database. I downloaded MySQL-shared-standard-4.1.22-0.rhel4.i386.rpm, MySQL-server-standard-4.1.22-0.rhel4.i386.rpm from mysql.com and installed them. Things are ok, please resutl http://www.iconvex.com/mics/mysql.jpg . But when i type "mysql" at command line, it said that "bad command". Any things wrong?

Thanks

it appears the mysql command has not been set in the PATH, try
locate mysql
and run the command from the location returned.
