UCS2 question

Hi,

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I'm running BK MySQL 4.1.1alpha, and I'm trying to talk to a table with a=20
charset of UCS2. (I'm mixing hebrew and latin-1 characters in it, and it=20
seems the best way.) - I'm talking to it from a program I'm developing usin=
g=20
mysql++.

How am I supposed to enter the ucs2 characters into the SQL database? I can=
't=20
see that I can use the actual bytes in the SQL query, as I'll end up with=20
null characters in the data I send to the SQL server. How do I write an SQL=
=20
statement that contains UCS2 characters?

Thanks,
Simon
